{The other night I went a little crazy and made TONS of Valentines. Tons, I tell you. I don't have nearly that many people to send Valentine's to! So, here's where you come in :: leave a comment on this post for a chance to win a set of Valentines. Tell me an extra-fun fact about yourself (and if I know you, try to make it something I don't already know!) Since Valentine's Day is coming up pretty quick, I'll pick a winner -- or 2 or 3 -- sometime tomorrow! Ready? Go!}

UPDATE::Contest now over::Congrats to Jen & JoAnn (see post above), but you are all winners in my book!

Alrighty, that's it's for now. Tune in next Monday for the next installment, and feel free to join in if you'd like.

holy experience

  1. I'm (surprisingly) enjoying the view today, too. I usually don't enjoy the snow, but there is something really refreshing about it right now. It cleans up all the mucky snow, like a fresh coat of paint.

    And what timing! As I read #213, Steve Green started singing, "I Can Do All Things" from Philippians 4:13. Amen!

  2. Great list and I absolutely LOVED the list of your kid's funny sayings. I was laughing out loud. I have never had children so I find a lot of joy in other kids. I do have 1 step-son and 11 nieces and nephews though that bring me a lot of joy. Have a terrific week!

  3. An extra fun fact....well, you know when they "prep" you to deliver a baby (and all that involves)I always tell the nurse, "You know if I ever see you out in public, I will duck and pretend like I don't you...no offense."

  4. A fun fact about me....I failed my driver's test the first time around and was so embarrassed and crushed that I never told a SOUL and made my mom promise to never tell anyone! Thank goodness I passed the second time :-).

  7. Hey Shana! Thanks for the comment on my blog. I always love to meet a stalker! Ha ha. :) Of course, I have to enter in the giveaway to get my hands on those great cards! I'm having a V-day party here with all of my friends and their little ones and have yet to bust out any Valentines Day cards!

    Sooo..a fun fact about me. How about a Valentines-y love story?

    I met my husband on an improv team in college. At one point during a skit, he's supposed to propose to a girl named Kristen and he said my name instead...twice. It's been love ever since. :)

  8. Love the Multitude Monday lists. I often think about how we are supposed to pray continually. I think partly because there is never ever a shortage of intercession needed, but also because there is never a shortage of things to be thankful for!!

    Fun fact: In college I had no desire to be married, have children, or live near my family. Now I have been married nearly 15 years, have six kids, and live next door to my parents.

    BTW- really hope I win! I am so NOT crafty or creative!!!!
